I was driving over a construction plate in the road and my car half stalled but then kept going, after parking it later and then starting it back up i got a check engine for the camshaft position sensor. We cleared the code but it came back after starting the car up 3 times.
Can anyone help me locate where the camshaft position sensor is located under the hood? I tried to google it, but had no success.
What engine ? 2.2 or 3.1 ?

maybe the wire is severed where the door (drver dr) pivots. thats what was wrong with mine. there is a rubber boot with crinkles in it that hold all the wires together. you can also try replacing the switch board that controls the wndws on the drvr dr. hope that helps.

Follow the red wire from the battery towards the firewall. It will end at the starter.
