cylinder #3 about an inch inside the intake, you have to pull manifold to get to it.

The spark plugs in the v6 can become an involved job as the upper intake manifold. The LS uses a Coil on Plug (COP) ignition system, meaning that the spark plugs are located under the ignition coil

they are located under the manifold you have coil packs on them to remove.you have to remove the manifol to get to thje ones on the pasengers side.

follow the spark plug wires, they will lead to the ignition coil/coil packs. some vehicles have the coil directly over each spark plug

They sit in the valve cover's through the top, has a panel on the cover's remove panel then you will see the ignition coil pack's remove coil pack and spark plug will be in there.

171 and 174 mean it is running lean and 300 means a random cylinder misfire

You have 8 coil pack's, to remove undo coil harness then remove small 8 mm bolt slide coil pack out and replace with new one, if replace all do same with all, you will have to work it around fuel rail, but I have never heard of all coil pack's going bad.

have you considered buying a $14.oo haynes repair manual from Kargen or one of those type stores? If not just google your year, model and engine type and a diagram comes up

It is on the Driver side of engine in between the COP's (Coil on plugs) simply unplug the wire use a 19 or 3/4 deep well socket and unscrew it and put it new one... The whole process should only take 10-15 minutes.
