This code should be in the glove box on a card the size of a credit card if you dont have then you will need to call the dealer maybe they have it on record if they dont then you need to remove the radio and get the serial # off the radio then go to dealer with proof of ownership and they will get the code for you, or you can pay them to remove radio and get #.

Acura how do you reset code for dead battery

What are you trying to reset, navigation, Radio? Both? In some previous models the codes are on the side of the glove box when you open it on a sticker. Mine was missing so I went online and requested a code with my vin number.

I have a 2000 Malibu. It has a cassette and CD player and an auto tune button. My battery went dead, so I had it changed. Now my radio shows, what looks like, the digital code LOC. I don't know how...

the radio most likely has a security code activated & until you reactivate the code the radio will not work, you may have to take it to a place where they install radios to get the problem sorted out.........hope this helps........cheers,

I have a 2001 BMW Z3. The battery went dead last

most new BMW's the fuse block is located behind the glove box. There should be a pair of twist plastic fastners at the back of the glove box, twist and remove the plate and you should find the fuse box and fuse locater list.

E55 radio code

If you typed the number in wrong more than twice it may be locked and won't take the number even when it's correct. You need to disconnect the battery again for more than 5 minutes and try again. If you typed it in correctly, the card might be from a previous radio (if you're not the original owner) or if it is the original radio, a mechanic may have swapped the card with another car by mistake. Either way, it's a trip to the dealer.
