Reverse lights won't come on when i shift it into reverse

2.0L or 2.7L engine<> transmission match engines max torque.
2.0L is F4A42 5speeed or a32.
ok both do in this case ,USA only . (assumed, endless me)
not scanning the PCM first is huge mistake, gue$$ing costly.

real transmission there.
the shift solenoids are 99.9% inside the box, tranny box.
not scanned firs the speed sensors or pressure controller can be bad. not just SOL's
there are 5 SoLs inside, just to shift. and more if you looked.

You must remove the entire headlight housing assembly. Should be about four nuts on studs depending on what side you may have to reomove the battery. you will a 10 mm wrench or deep socket. the light socket then twist in and out and you splug in the bulb once you get tho that point it is prety simple.
