The burnt out parking light can only be accessed thru the trunk.

Open the trunk and remove the panel covering/ protecting the bulb compartment.

Then you turn the bulb to the left. Easy does it.

Good luck.

1996 Toyota Corolla 1.6. Can I drive the car without the EGR valve and the EGR Valve Solenoid working?

Yes Joe

Just don't try and bypass it. You can keep cancelling the code. The ECM will try and work things out and compensate. If this was the vehicle that had the fuel system cleaner, it may right itself over a half tank with cleaner.

The EGR is an EPA idea to make sure some of the unburned hydrocarbons (fuel) gets a second change at getting burned up.

Toyota Corolla The parking lights and tail lights wont turn. Did smell a burning smell. Change brake light switch 2 months ago

Check the fuse for the lights- I'll bet it's blown. If it is, it may be because of a short in the wires or something. If you changed the light switch, whoever did it might have messed the wiring up a little bit and they just need to be taped better or something. You can replace the fuse and see what happens next.

Open hood, remove phillips screws that hold corner parking light in place. Wiggle light as you pull up and forward on the light and it will come out so that you can spin out the old bulb and put the new one in. Hope this helps you out!

97 Toyota Corolla. A friend of mine cannot get his car into reverse, due to the break light fuse. A local m stated that most likley needed to replace the lights in the break light. Cannot for the life...

If brake pedal sensor is bad, then lever cannot be taken out of Park unless you depress the shift lock near base of shift lever - pop off small rectangular tab to access.

Burned out brake light bulbs will not affect the shifting.

2001 toyota corolla parking lights stay on

Most likely a bad headlamp switch, UNLESS you have a remote starter hooked up. Corollas with a body computer really do not like remote starters, they cause really bizaare things to happen.
