"2002 ford F250 7.3 diesel with ABS trouble light on" , batteries were just changed and light came on after batteries were replace. Old batteries failed early, only 44 months into 85 month warranty. Both batteries failed load test. No problems prior to battery failure and subsequent ABS light coming on.

Remove power to all aftermarket components, if you know how to use a multi-meter connect to power source inside vehicle.. Drive normal, if voltage drops below 12v while driving, it is faulty alternator. If bat light comes on and voltage is above 12v the plug on the alternator might be correded and throwing faulty light, or bad ground in gauge cluster...

you have a voltage drop.fine the damaged wire going fro mthe positive terminal of your battery to your alternator.fix this or it will keep working the alternator and draining your battery.

Disconnect battery ground for 30 seconds & reconnect. Light should be out unless you have deeper diagnostic problem. Charging system good Battery good. This action should reset trouble light. Good luck!

Injection pump is worn out. The head and rotor inside the injection pump is bad, When the engine is hot the tolerences on the head become to much hence loosing pressure needed to fire injectors. entire pump needs replaced. Good luck, Not a good idea to pour cold water on the inction pump it wii seize up and be no good for core, could cost you extra money on price of pump
