Nissan Sylphy won't start and coil not firing.

NO YEAR told for a CHALLENGE? year 2000 to 2022,wow !
NO COUNTRY TOLD.
check the FUSES FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
with 9 engines used, gas (petrol) , sure not diesel.
all are 4 cylinders and diff. sizes sure.
so he does not know his job , that it?
find one that does.? for sure.
we have no such car here in USA;
for a fact 22 years made the spark systems are NO THE SAME
not old how may coil (HV) packs there are
1 pack (distributor ) year 2000?
2 packs, called wasted spark and 2 or 4 HV spark wires
4in1 pack bricks. one giant pack with 2 coils inside wasted spark.
4 packs called COPS, coil over plugs (sparks)
there you go 22 years of evolution of spark (and more powerful)_
my guess it is 2pack car, (or 4 pack brick)
in both cases, 2 /4 , the young kids working or boomers will not know what wasted spark does. and wired it all up backward
1>4 3>2 (ecu firing order is 1,3,4,2 for ever fixed)
Wasted spark fires. TDC
example 1 fires real ,and 4 fires wasted. wasted means wasted fining on the exhaust stroke. ( and saves owning 2 extra coils)
the magic of just 2 coils wired in series.
but if 1 HV wire is open 2 sparks die, OOPS?

my 1975 honda CB750 had it so is not new ever, this tech
what matters most of all is moving the HV spark wires 1 by 1
never just throwing the wires there. guessing.
HV means the 20,000 volt high voltage wire set.
and last ( causes)_
Some are , even year 2000, had s fire wall igniter block that drives all coil packs and sure that can fail too.
later years the ignitor was moved to the COIL packs.(cops)
and last last, ECU bad to spark coil inputs.
new year told
no engine told
no country told
a hard row to hoe, or a tough nut to crack.

good luck finding real tech. how knows his craft and the evolution of it.(complex)

What is the specific torque for the sparks plugs for Nissan Tiida 1.8L 2011

There is no specific torque for spark plugs. Simply tighten them down nice and snug with a 3/8 ratchet not a 1/2 ratchet. You may over tighten them with a 1/2 ratchet!

What is year--make--model and engine size? Just about anything can cause a miss-fire, fuel--spark--compression.

Fiat Palio 1.2 firing order

didnt change them 1 by one, you bad boy.

id get the real engine name and google that or buy the FSM book.
at FIAT.

1.2 F.I.R.E engine.
comes in 2 favors
  • 8v SMPI VVT (2007 - current)
  • 16v SMPI (1998 - 2009)
most non boxer engines, are 1,3,4,2 (but this is pcm job not you )
google shows
IT'S WASTED SPARK SYSTEM !
google hit #1
It's cast into the cylinder head. Look across from the passenger side of the car- you'll see 2314 just above the coils.

sounds like this engine is with a COIL pack, You never said.
and with a twin pack , all 4 bangers are wasted spark.
so 2nd 3 fire on one coil (in series) and 1and 4 fire in tandom.
but the PCM sets order. not you,
it only needs to have to pack wired right.
and is clearly marked on most better made coil packs
did you look first.?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
one more google poster , no FSM. shows
coil towards the front of the car is cylinder 2 and 3
coil towards the back of the car cylinder 1 and 4
as shown below

make sure you have the plugs to the coils the right way round thou i

4 ----[o]4
1 ----------------[o]1
2 ------------[o]2
3 --------[o]3

-----------------------------------------------------------------
me.....
when the PCM fires coil 1/4 , it better be wired to 1 and4 or
it will not run. (ir shakes like a wet dog)
simple as can be.

yes, the front cylinder is #1
now where is front. you say?, that be, on the crank pulley end.
not the clutch.side.

if still confused a drawing is easy to make.
1sparkfront, to 1 coil
2 spark to coil 2
3 spark to coil 3
4 spark to coil 4. rear cylinder is 4.
1,2,3,4 front to rear.

We just put in a new starter but when we connect the battery sparks come out

Two causes of this (if sparking occurs when sarting is attempted):
(1) teeth on new starter not properly meshed to flywheel
Cause: installation of new starter not securely or properly bolted down.
(2) new starter motor itself is faulty right out of the box.
Cause: poor manufacturing/rebuilding quality control by starter mfr/rebuilder.

Also, if sparking occurs when battery connected (and the sparks come from the battery connector),
then the starter is improperly wired.

So, where are the sparks coming out of?

No start new plugs, cap, rotor new coil icm modual put starting fluid in still no start will turn over all day

1. Check the spark plug gaps. It should be adjusted
to the thickness of a hacksaw blade.
2. You replace almost all of the ignition parts but not
the hi-tension cables of the plugs and the coil.
Have this replaced.
3. Check all the plug for sparks. Sparks must be blue
in color to indicate good voltage to burn the fuel
and run your engines.
4. When everything in the ignition is working, check
the fuel at the carb if it has a good spray.
5. Check the air-fuel adjuster at the carburetor. From
full close position, turn 2-1/2 full turns counter
clockwise.
6. Then, start your engines and go.

I suspect from your diagnostics described you may have faulty spark plug wires.start[or crank]engine in the dark ;observe plug wires, look for sparks from wires to engine,if evident, replace wires.[one at a time to maintain proper order].

1993 chevy cavalier 2.2l 4 c. sparks and wire order

it fires 1-3-4-2. The coil pack is marked 1-4, match them up with your cylinders, and you're good to go! Cylinder 1 is on the front of the engine, the side opposite from the transmission. Find your alternator and that's at cylinder 1.
