Our centre rear seat belt locked while the rear seat was lowered

2004 X5 our centre rear seat belt locked while the rear seat was lowered down flat, we could not raise the seat until we freed the belt - by unscrewing the holding bolt under the seat cushion

how can we get into the seat belt assembly as recommended in the seat belt locking solution?

SOURCE: centre rear seat belt will not pull out

You'll need to remove the covering off your seat belt assembly to see if it's knotted up inside the case or if the tensor switch is set too tight or it's locking

SOURCE: Drivers side seat will not

I had the same problem. It turned out that the previous owner(s) had let a lot of sticky trash accumulate under the seat. After the seat was removed and everything (seat tracks and floor) was given a good cleaning, the seat goes up and down just fine.

SOURCE: 1995 BMW 525i seat height motor works on one side of seat only

there are 2 cables that come out of the motor that operates that feture. Over time the outsdie tube of the cable streaches, causing the cable that turns inside, to come out of the transmission is drives. One way to fix this is to remove this cable and shoren the outside tube by cutting it, and then re-insall back into the transmission. This is a 50/50 chance repair. The correct way to cure this issue is to replace the lower seat frame. $$$

SOURCE: I just go locked out of my X5 BMW 2002 x5 and my

right i had this ***** of a problem 2nd week in jan 2010. a bmw mechanic told to jack car up at front and hook a jumper pack up to live on starter motor terminal and then earth, was quite hard to put croc clip on to starter but did manage it. this was supposed to back charge to battery to get enough power to open car with remote, in theory it should of worked but i gave up after 3 hours-no power. so i got my key put it in drivers door and mechanically turned to open position, then i got a cutlery knife from kitchen and wrapped some insulation tape around tip up 2-3 inches. then i pushed this down glass directly above door handle key end to pry a gap between glass and rubber just enough to slide coat hanger wire in with small hook on end then i manouvered wire hook until i hooked latch arm which i did within 1 minute pulled coathanger wire up and pulled door handle the door opened much to my delight. this was a major sigh of relief after trying for 2 days to get in, and many hours searching the net for a solution which i couldnt find. THIS WORKS 100 percent WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE!!!!!!! any questions email me- [email protected]

Back seat into upright position

When not using the compartment as storage, the read seats can be returned to the upright position as follows. 1. Pull both sides of the seat up into their upright position. 2. Pull down the seat cushion until it is returned to the original position. 3. Return the head restraints to their proper position. The rear drivers side passenger seat in my Mercedes 2004 ml350 is stuck down...how do get it to come back up. very little room to work

Not an easy task. You likely have one of 2 problems. If center seat belt is in the seat that is down, it may be locked. If so, you need to remove the seat back cover then the seat belt retractor. You can then position the seat belt retractor upright (how it sits when the seat is up) and pull the seat belt out making slack to raise the seat. This only happens if the either the stop on the seat belt is broken or the seat belt guide on the seat back is broken. If that's not the problem, you likely have a release cable that has come loose under the seat. If you look at the half that works, you can determine what you need to move on the locked seat and try to get to it with a long tin screwdriver or similar implement.

Se me kedaron las llaves dentro de mi explorer 2004 tiene botones en las puertas cual es la clave

I'm not completely sure I understand the question, but here's my best guess!

Open the right/rear door. Pull the body weatherstrip back a little. Fold down the right/rear seat back. Pull the panel where the right/rear seat belt anchors to the top, with the sliding height adjuster. Pull back the lower panel just until you can see the Vehicle Security Module with the three electrical connectors colored green, blue, and grey. There is a label with the number 5L2T-15K602-EA. You will also see FIVE numbers. That is your five digit keypad entry code.

How do i lower the rear seat in my 2006 impala

First fold down the rear head restraints by pressing the button on the side of the head restraint. Now you can fold your seat down in either of these two ways:
1. Pull the button on the top of the seat to unlock it from its position; you will notice a raised tab when the seat is unlocked
2. Depending on the type of seat you have, you can lower it by pulling a lever on the right side of the rear cargo area.
Remember, the seat belts should not be fastened when you attempt to lower the seat.

Rear seat belt is stuck in recline position. I recline the rear seat to make room and I can not raise the seat back up. The seat belt is not allowing the seat to raise

The problem:
The set belt stop has been lost so the seat belt retracts too far when the seat is laid flat. When laid flat the release mechanism locks as it should when not level so the seat cannot be raised up as the belt is too tight and locked.
The Solution:
1) Push the two little clips to release and remove the headrests.
Pull the grey lever on the right of the seat base, lift seat base up and forward toward the front seat..
2) See two red capped leversat the back of the two seat hinges and lever them to the upward position, this releases the seat.
Rock the very heavy seat unit upwards and lift complete unit upwards.
3) Take it out of the car and turn 180% so that the back of the seat and base are in the upward position and the seat belt will pull out as it should
4) Replace the missing belt locking stop (I used a tie pin permanently fixed using super glue).
5) Fold seat back down and test then either re-fit seat unit or leave out to decrease fuel consumption.. 2_5_2014_8_03_56_pm.jpg 5f6d2b58-2927-4184-9c82-d111e3a9591a.jpg e9f641fc-5fbc-4c21-a371-ff371d942b1a.jpg a357ac71-d6ed-4dc7-999c-04367d3d6e72.jpg

Rear seat won't come back up

I had the same thing happen! Pushed all the way down the rear back locks, to unlock push the lever in and press DOWN on the seat to release the lock.
I had to check my manual, I tried to lift it 'case it made sense but nope - you have to press down while pushing the lever.
