Is there a repair manual available for a 2009 Subaru Forester other than the very expensive factory version?

2009 forester ac on i get hot air drivers side cold on pass.no matter where i set it. i do not have dual zones

Good NEWS Douglas Veres,

The EXPENSIVE stuff IS working (hot & cold)

Now you have to figure out what (between your

"mix doors" & control panel) is malfunctioning...

My best advise is to get FACTORY repair manuals...

FAILING THAT go with the BIG NAME manual

2009 Subaru 2.5L Bolt Torque Specs

Pick up a repair manual. It will have the 30 or 40 different torque specs in it. IE head, intake, exhoust, rocker shaft, timing gears, etc, etc, etc.

Our new Forester Diesel is ok But has no power at low revs when pulling away from standstil or moving slowly in 2nd and 3rd gears. Also main issue with this vehicle is the very slow and tractor like gear...

The forester diesel 6spd gear box is designed to replace the high low gear box so although starting off in second or third gear is possible .... puts a lot of strain on compents ie clutch/ gear box . very slow manuovering is much better carried out in 1st gear , as is moving from stationary . The engine torque is low dow the rev range high max idle is reached very quickly . The diesel engine characteristics are different to the petrol version ( I own 2.5 forester 2009 - 7.8l per km's @55000 km's). So you need to change your driving style to suit . I have test driven the 2.0l Diesel and sufficiently impressed to replace the 2009 version with the diesel .
