Most gm vech have a fusebox inside on the driverside to the left of steering colom on the firewall.

That could be only two things one a bad pistion or a bad rod. I would take the engine apart and find one or both maybe broken or in bad repair fixing. I would not drive it far it will throw the pistion or rod right through the engine costing ya more money or a new car.

Sounds like a RFID issue. Your key most likely has a chip inside of it. Most of the time people will have multiple keys on their key chain that can cause interference with the receiver in your steering column. Try using the one ignition key to start.

Check fuses , they operate on different circuits, ie ignition or battery dependant on switchwork. But unlikely to be a short in indicator circuit seen as 4way works fine but still may be a fault in a shared circuit . You may be down another electrical componant but are unaware at the moment !
