If you are describing a stick shift get it done by a pro, if you make it too tight you will burn out the clutch prematurely.

the clutch reservoir is part of the clutch master cylinder it is usually on the firewall under the hood opposite the clutch pedal it has either a rubber or plastic cap on it......hope this helps......cheers.

you can adjust the clutch on the clutch pedal by undoing a nut. either wind it in or out til it selects gears properly. otherwise its the 2 linkage wires that run from the gear box to the gear stick. wires cost about

go to an auto parts store like auto zone ,advanced auto they will come out and show you for free,or buy a book haynes chilton or check the half priced book store for you year and model .if your going to work on it yourself you should have a book they have lots of pictures that is very helpfull when your looking for a part and theres no room to stick your head

I would check the operation of the shifter cable. It may need lubricated.

I have the same car, the only solution to this problem is to tighten the clutch cable nut just as necessary until you feel that you are able to shift smoothly without forcing it, make sure you start the car to test for that.

You might have to remove the air intake in order to access the clutch cable.

If you tighten the nut too much, your clutch will feel light and you will have clutch slips. So basically keep trying until you're there. You can loosen or tighten the nut while the car is running, I'd recommend.

I had the same thing (hard to turn, especially in cold temps, wouldn't return to straight.....). Since the power steering fluid was full, I decided it had to be "gunk" in the fluid, so I took my '03 Kia Sedona in to have the power steering fluid flushed & filled (over $100 I think!).

No better. So I took it to another mechanic and he said that the "U-Bolt" had frozen up. He changed it (part was $117 and labor was 2 hours, for a total cost of $350ish) and it's good as new now!
