Where can I take my car to get the codes read for the advance trac light that keeps popping on?

1. To the dealer service center for the brand of car you have.

2. To any reputable independent auto service and repair center, particularly one that specializes in the brand of car you have.
All reputable mechanics will have a comprehensive quality scan tool to pull any fault codes the system is generating. Some fault codes are generic and others are specific to particular vehicles.

The advance trac warning indicates a fault in the vehicle electronic stability control system (ESC).

If the "service AdvanceTrac" warning indicator light displays, this could be an indication of several possible issues such as a faulty wheel-speed sensor, a faulty steering-angle sensor, a faulty rotational-speed sensor and other problems.

02 merc E220 CDi W211, when I turn key in ignition it will blow a 15 amp fuse in the engine compartment maybe 4 out off 10 starts, Tks in advance

Fuse blowing indicates some circuit is drawing too much current. Figure out what that fuse supplies and investigate that circuit.

and endless list . it seems

on or cars if at all, its master warning
means to look at all other lights and gauges for wrong readings.
but>?????

quote:
This is the Master Warning Light symbol. If this light is on, there will likely be text displayed as well on the instrument panel. Look for the text. It could very well point out something as serious as low oil pressure. However, despite the serious look to the symbol, it is generally associated with simple reminders such as a door ajar or that it is time to change the oil. master_warning_light_2.gifThis same symbol, an exclamation point in a triangle, in yellow or amber has been used by European vehicle manufacturers to indicate a fault in the vehicle's Stability Control System. The vehicle can be driven with caution, but without the benefit of the advanced electronic control system. See your dealer as soon as possible.

buy the lost operators guide and not need to google seach every time a light flashes. nor get stranded. with no 3g.

Before you go into the differential, check the CV joints - have any fitment center check these for you. If the noise is not from there your next stop should be an Mercedes agency.

My daughter has just text to say the isp warning light is on on her 2008 swift sport is there any known wirring / sensor faults that can be easely checked

Usually, Warning displays from the vehicles requiring regular services. A lightening warning display should least have to do with an electrical circuit. The vehicles only displays a warning with a light that is observable by the driver at the dashboard area. Usually, if nothing is broken, the fluids in the vehicle are insufficient. For example, in cold seasons, the AC consumes alot of antifreeze coolants. Alternately, the hot season consumes a lot of engine oils as lubircants. Which ever be the situation, consult with a mechanic to perform regular servicing of fliud changes to restore the vehicles usual functionality.

Esp dashboard warning light is constantly on... TT quatro 2002

warning lights are usually got to do with the electronics in the carm so you should go to a mechanic and ask him to check the cars electronics which is free and he will probably say your electronic wiring is smashed the cheapest thing to do is rewire your car it would cost 100-250 euro where as if you got the car comprimised it would cost 700-900 euro
