Windsheild wiper the driver's side wiper is not working but the passenger side wiper is on my 2002 ford windstar. I'm assuming it has come loose and can be adjusted but I'm not sure where the motor is located. Help please :)

HOW DO YOU ADJUST THE WIPER ARM TENSION HAD WINDSHEILD REPLACE AND NO WIPER IS BLOWING AROUND NOT CLEANING OF WINDSHEILD WHEN DRIVING OVER 45 MPH EVERYTIME A TRUCK GOES BY THE WIPER FLOPS

Hello: From your description of the problem it sounds like the wiper arm is bent. This could have occurred when the windshield was replaced. You might take truck back to who ever replaced windshield and DEMAND they correct the problem. The w/w arm will have to be replaced.

What size wiper blades for front windshield

Driver side: 24"
Passenger: 20"
Rear: 16", although I use 18-20 for better coverage

Passenger side: 20" ; Driver's side: 24" GK

At 2001 Windstar all old models, driver front 24", passenger front 20", rear window 16"
Driver side 24 inches, passenger side 20.

2002 ford crown vic. driver side wiper not working? passenger side works

the linkage between the wiper motor and the wiper arms needs to be replaced. the stud on the one side is stripped and that is why it doesn't work as it should. this happens usually when the wipers are left on in the winter with the blades freezing to the windsheild. turn on the car with frozen blades tends to strip out the teeth holding the wiper arms onto the linkage

1998 Grand Prix Windshield wiper problem passenger side wiper acts erractically

I assume that the drivers side is working perfectly and only the passanger side has a shorteded erattic sweep . It will be either a loose locking nut on the wiper arm (on spindle) or unusually a faulty crank arm (weld) on the underside of the wiper spindle . Good luck

2002 ford windstar lx Rear intermittent wiper not working...i checked the fuse and it was blown...we replaced it now the rear windsheild washer is working but the wiper is still not working... also the...

Check to be sure there is not a seperate fuse for the wiper. Check power and ground at the motor. if you have power and ground replace the motor. if you don't, check for a break in the wires where the harness bends at the tailgate. take the interior door trim apart to unlock and open then inspect the inside of the door and all components. i can't really help with seeing it. the econolines have issues with the lock cylinders.

I am needing to replace the coil pack on my 2002 Ford Windstar 3.8L. It's in a spot that is not easily accesible. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks to doing a replacement.

I just did the job yesterday.
1. Remove the windshield wipers.
2. Disconnect hose to wiper fluid nozzles under cowling.
3. Disconnect power to wiper motors at drivers side motor.
4. Disconnect fluid hose near cowling above passenger tire.
5. Unbolt the metal cowling from the vehicle & remove it.
6. Now you can easily access the coil pack - takes 3 screws.
7. Replace items in reverse order.

Air does not come out the front vents only the defrost vent

This happened to me as well. These vents are controlled by vacuum. The vacuum hose beneath the passenger side cowl is probably disconnected. It is behind the engine just below the passengerside windsheild wiper. I would look for disconnected vacuum hoses. That fixed mine.
