Check with Diesel Geek (Google it). He has TB Kits. Also if you don't already know TDIClub.com is a great resource.

How do i set timing marks for 2002 jetta 4 tdi 1.9 injector pump

timing is set on the alh tdi with a specialize set of tools, you have a holding tool for the crank, a pin type to hold the injector pump and a bar type tool to hold the camshaft. this will set the timing to basic settings when doing a timing belt job. you must then use the computer diagnostic specialized tool to set timing properly. Again, you will need specialized tools to perform this repair. Vag-com or vcds by ross-tech works very well if you are thinking about buying your own.

Cheers,

Greg

I have a 2002 volkswagen jetta. do I need to remove lower ball joint to remove front spring and strut assembly? or can I remove assenbly by removing top and bottom bolt and nut at bottom of strut?

you dont have to.

but when your in there there is a gap in the back of the spindlewhere it clamps arount the strut stick a prybar in there and pry apart makes it alot easier to get out. unless you have the special tool that wedges it apart. once wedged apart hit up with hammer

When do you change timing belt on 2001 TDI Jetta. We have every 60,000, but service now just told me it has always been 105,000. Also we have a 2006 TDI Jetta and that timing belt is every 80,000 correct?

My sincere apologies for the delayed response.
I am personally going back to answer your unanswered questions.

I do not know if you still need this information, however I am answering it either way.

The Serpentine Belt: visible on the outside of the Engine, should be replaced every 60,000 miles. The Timing Belt: not visible/inside the Engine, should be inspected/replaced every 100,000 miles.

Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel Free to contact me at FixYa.com!

Again my apologies...
