Turn signals quit working on a 1997 Taurus. They were working fine in the morning when the vehicle was taken to a mechanic for front strut replacement. Now they are not working at all. The brake lights work fine. Could a wire been disconnected on the harness or cut?

It is possible the mechanic leaned on a wire/wires like at the fuse box while working on your car. he should at least check it at no cost. be careful, many times mechanics like to charge ppl for damage that they did.

Every time i hit bumps the right front knock

its probably a bad strut or cv joint- take it to a mechanic for diagnosis.
cv joints usually click when you turn whereas struts can make noises whenever. if the front right corner of the car rides lower i would look at the spring covering the strut- it could be broken.

Front turn signal on 1997 ford taurus doesn't work.

Replace the bulb? Remove the bulb from the back of the light by twisting a 1.4 turn. It takes an amber 1157 bulb

I think you are right. The strut or strut mount bearings on the top of the strut could be making noise. The shop might try and rip you off with additional repairs for the control arms, control arm bushings, or steering parts. I would take the vehicle to a reliable shop.

Turn signals acting up

Check the multi function switch(turn signal switch) sometimes dirt will get in the contacts and cause what you're concern is. Will most likely have to replace switch.
