If the plugs and wiring are ok! Try changing the fuel filter. A clogged up filter will bog the car down, and it may also quit at stops. No power on hills ETC. God-Bless you! and your family.
what year. ever tune it up, no, then the fuel filter i packed, air filter same. if it is tuned up and newer than 1996 and in USA, (are you) then you can use any scan tool for $7 and read DTC errors.
to get power from any engine only takes these things. 1: DC power to EFI, a volt meter, proves this is 1min. 2: full compression,. 4 readings. 3: good spark at all spark plugs, 4 tests. 4: good fueling. (tool lean, bog, too rich misfire bog"violent") there are 4 tests.
the tune up also cleans the EGR valve / there are other rare failures but the above is the majors.
You may want to do a basic tune up. Plugs, wires, cap&rotor, PCV, and don't forget the fuel filter. It is a forgoten, yet sometimes vital, part of a tune up. If you have already done this within a reasonable mileage, hit me up and we'll try to figure this thing out.
its possible that the fuel pump isn't working properly possibly due to worn pump or corroded wiring going to the pump not allowing full voltage or grnd to the pump
Hello. How many miles are on the vehical? Have you ever had, or changed the fuel filter(s)? . The spark plugs and wires? I recommend a quality tune up first to eliminate any small issues. Quinn, Arizona
the culprit could be your fuel filter or the vacuum advance on your distributor.i recomend to replace filter and also do a manuel check of vacuum advance on distributor.
