You normally can find the diagram on a sticker on the underside of the hood directly above the alternator on a 3.0 OHV motor 2002 Ford Taurus. I copied one from the Internet and taped it above the headlight on my car so it was easier to view and use. look on the back of the sleeve the serpentine belt came in...it should have multiple diagrams showing the setup you just have to choose the one for your engine. to replace unbolt the back of the alternator remove the belt and work backwards to install belt.
you have to pull on the belt to get give from the tensioner unless you have the required tool... it makes it A LOT easier but nothing a little elbow grease cannot handle
