I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE no power to certain fuses and circuit fuses are good car cranks but won't start

double posted and tests DONE WRONG
the battery must not be dead is first
and not testing fuse, with KEY on,
1;/2 the fuses are dead KEY off that is 100% Normal.
key on does IP cluster glow lamps as it did just like it did for 13 years?
head lamps bright key on an off both, (it must)
heater blower on high, works loud ,key on,
is the starter motor dead/? called cranking,?????????????

you said new crank , I'm sure you meant a new starter motor>?
is the starter dead? now? if yes post how to test a dead starter.
starters fail in many ways.
  • dead
  • chatters.
  • clicks,
  • makes a HUGE nasty loud bang, (engine or it seized)
  • or starter spins fast (sounds like sewing machined) but engine cranks shaft never spins (turns ) starter pinon failure.
or starter goes GRRRRRGRRRRRR and crank shaft spins but does not start.(seen and heard)

a dead starter with a good battery (charged) may crank
if you learn to crank it in NEUTRAL. (auto tranny?)
does starter work , JUMPER cable jump started?????
crank in park then try Neutral.
on stick shift cars the clutch switch bad kills cranking.

Where is fuse located for battery

If dash lights come on then the battery is ok! I would check the starter motor, the clicking would indicate the starter solenoid is faulty......this is part of the starter motor!

My car was trying to cutoff when attempting to crank this morning. all lights on dash came on....car did crank and I made it to work, then at lunch went out and attempted to start. the lights come on but...

Your battery is dead. See if a co-worker can give you a boost, and if the car will run, go to the nearest auto parts store. They will test your battery for free, as well as your alternator (what charges the battery and supplies power to your car while running) and advise you on what the problem actually is.

Left car for four days came back battery dead. tried boosting. Car would not turn over but a motor noise( not the car engine) appears to start up when both cables are connected( positive and negative...

First of all, never boost or jump start a car if you can help it.
You should always try to charge the battery instead.
That is because if you do get a car started when it has a really bad battery, the odds are you will cook the alternator as it tries to recharge the dead battery.

The reason the battery went dead while stilling for 4 days, is because something stayed on.
That is what you are hearing when you attached the good battery.
You must find out what it is and turn it off, or you will keep losing batteries.
Since nothing should be on and most things are not loud enough to hear, I suspect something powered through a relay, where the relay is sticking on.
The 2 that come to mind first are the electric radiator fan, and the fuel pump.
You should be able to pin it down by listening to the location of the sound.

Car wont start but the lights, radio and everything battery operated comes on but it just makes a click noise when trying to start engine

If you can hear a click (quite loud) from the engine compartment, but the starter won't crank, this also could be caused by discharged battery. Battery problems - Discharged or dead battery is one of the possible reasons for a car not to start. Very common is the situation when we forget to turn the lights off overnight (the dome light, for example), which causes the battery to drain. In this case when attempting to start a car, all you will probably hear will be a clicking noise - there won't be enough power to turn the starter. Here is the simple way to check if the battery is discharged: Turn the ignition on. With the engine off, turn the windshield wipers on. If they move way too slow, much slower than usual, the battery is probably discharged. Also look at the dashboard lights - if they appear very dim, the battery is probably discharged.
If the battery is relatively new, it can be recharged. All you need to do is to boost your car and let the engine run for a while to charge the battery.

However if your battery is more than three-four years old, you will probably need to buy a new one. Sometimes, an old battery may even die with no apparent reason, even if the day before it was OK.

If the battery is OK, the starter solenoid, starter cables or the starter motor itself could be a problem.

Check it and tell us news.

Entire 1996 blazer electrical dies when starter solenoid engaged

if voltage reulator on alt. does not stop current after battery is charged it will over charge battery abd can drain cell from boiling electrolite out.check 4 bulged battery case(swelling) indication of overchaeging.the start problem could be your starter wires connection.remove starter wires clean contacts and torque respectively.dont forget the ground to motor.sounds like a loose or corroded contact somewhere.

try over riding the starter relay on the fender ,it has one there right?. dont go to a mechanic yet. the engine aint seized. if it doesnt have this relay then i would get the alternator tested. if you want to test it yourself it can be costly for the right equip. autozone usually tests for free. i dont know were you live so if theres not an autozone. let me know if you cant get it tested.

Won't start lights dim and then brighten

Did you try to boost battery? Sounds like low charge. Check battery terminals for tight and clean as well as groung connection at body and power connection at starter for clean. If battery OK test for power on starter wires. Large wire will have contant battery power small wire will have battery power when key is in crank position. If power ok on both it will probably need a starter. Hope this helps...Good Luck.
