My overdrive light blinks off and on. My four wheel drive light's blinks and want switch to four wheel drive

I got this free Pdf man ual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

when the overdrive light is blinking is that you have a transmission code you need a code reader to see what code it is if you don't feel a difference in the performance of the tranny it could be something simple.

The over drive light is blinking. after driving for a while and the transmission is shifting very hard, what could be the problem?

check the transmission fluid could be low, or try shifting to overdrive manually

When in overdrive trans shifts into drive also light on dash blinks

It would help if you said this was manual or automatic, because both can have overdrive.
You also need to tell us at what speed this happens, because you should only put it into over drive when above 50 mph.

Lost speedometer and overdrive light flashing

Its most likely the vehicle speed sensor. Its on the transmission near the output shaft on the passenger side. Check the connection first, if it's good, change the sensor.

Have the vehicle scanned.The overdrive light is like the check engine light for the transmission. There are transmission codes in the ecm if the overdrive light is blinking.

It's possible the light bulb has a bad filament or connection. If the transmission doesn't seem to be shifting in and out of overdrive while you're driving then chances are its the bulb or connection.

The operating system has spotted a problem with the transmission and is blinking the lite as a result. Usually when the light is blinking it means that the transmission isn't capable of, or being allowed to, shift into overdrive. I would have a transmission shop check this one out as soon as possible to see what is causing the light to blink as there may be a more serious problem happening within the system or with a transmission component.
