I would check the AC clutch relay. It has a bad habit of going out. It is located in the fuse box under the hood next to the battery. It is the smaller rectangular relay nearest to the negative battery post. It is labeled M/G CLT. You can swap out a similar relay and see if it fixes the problem. New relays can be purchased from Rockauto.com for $11
The fuse bow is in the right hand side front wheel well. There is another one in the engine bay just behind the battery. This houses the relays as well. Are you sure that the electrics are at fault? If your refidgerant level is low (you might have a leak) the aircon won't work. Try the fuses first though.
