If you are talking about the factory unit(transponder in key)you CANNOT bypass(its in the ecm)if its an aftermarket/dealer fit unit, you may want to take the whole unit out,but be warned some do not come out without totally f...... the car.

Do you bypass or take out the antitheft system the same way in all ford mustang if not need to know how on 97 year lost key and don't have the money to get new one and need to move where it is at asap

You can't take out or bypass the system. The alarm and immobiliser are there to stop exactly what you want to do.

There is a chip in the key and a chip in the ignition lock. Once both are in close proximity, they send a message to the car's computer and the computer releases power to the ignition. Without any one of those parts, the immobiliser comes into operation to stop anyone moving the vehicle.

The only thing you can do is tow it until you get the key.

How do you bypass antitheft system on a 2006 ford excape

You can't. If it is a OEM factory installed system the imobilliser works in conjunction with a chip in the key and a chip in the steering console. If it is an aftermarket system you would have to remove the whole installation.

If if it were easy to bypass an antitheft system it wouldn't be very effective would it?

On a Ford Escape it will be factory installed and you can't bypass it as it is also linked to the ECM computer management system.

If I put a new ignition switch in a 97 camero does the security system need to be reprogrammed?

Yes and no. The vats system is not reprogramable like the newer passlock and passkey systems. It must be replaced with a original GM part. No after market. If not, the antitheft system can't pass on the correct signal from the key to the theft deterrent module, and the antitheft system will shut off the starter and/or the fuel injectors. It IS possible to bypass this system. This link explains.

Lost keys to ford ranger and need to bypass the antitheft system.I have a xtra ignition key but it does not have the chip to start the truck.

I am not allowed to provide instructions to bypass an antitheft system, I am sorry.

But I can tell you that it ist not simple to be done,I think it´s even impossible to override the system of your car. The reason is that the immobilizer is included in the engine control module, so there is no way to bypass the system.

The easiest -and cheapest- way is to order a new key or tow the car to the next Ford Branch to program the existing key.

97 jetta wont start no power to starter

It could very well be your ignition switch may be damaged/need to be replaced. common problem 97's I have seen 3 like this so far. if you turn the key to lock the car and your alarm beeps to tell u it is active then its not the alarm and is very likely the ignition switch. you can cross the terminals to start the car until it is fixed. also be sure to check the relays and fuses as well.
