Today the electric switch for the fuel filler door stopped working. So did the switch for the trunk rlease. The book says they are both controlled by the same fuse , but it is one of the master fuses, which requires a dealer service. The immediate problem is that I need fuel, and can't open the filler door. Is there any manual bypass or soem way to get the door open so I can get fuel? Or is ther some way for me to check the fuse without having to go to a dealer??
There should be a cable in the trunk for a emergency release
Testimonial: "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Found the cable and it does open that filler door. Perfect. Thank you. Is there any way I can find and check the fuse that controls the electric buttons myself or do I really have to have a dealer take care of that?"
