Took my 93' Toyota, has 193,000 miles replaced the

Took my 93' Toyota to my mechanic several times, has 193,000 miles replaced the master cylinder twice because of the brakes either was soft then it gets hard again and locks up..tried bleeding ..getting it adjusted ..still has the same problem..what other causes that would do that?My mechanic replace the porporting valve, had the brake booster done before and in between all this..he is baffled of what is causing all 4 brakes to lock up after driving it aorund...it is like whent he car is cold when you first start it ..brakes are soft...then later driving around, when ti brakes it starts to get hard a bit more and then it would slowly lock up and stop..

Do you have to bleed master cylinder on 106 if master cylinder resorvior is empty

You don't have to bleed the master cylinder, you are going to have to prime it and bleed your entire brake system again. When you are bleeding your breaks you never let the reservoir run dry or the master cylinder starts to push air through the entire system. Not just on the line running to your front caliper. This is probably the reason you aren't getting pressure even when you pump the breaks.

Clutch pedal stays on floor when released

check the helper spring on the clutch pedal. You'll have to get down in the driver's footwell and using a flashlight look at the mechanism while you push the pedal down (and pull up). If the spring isn't missing or broken and everything looks okay, then change the clutch master cylinder. The piston in the cylinder is probably binding due to corrosion in the bore. I have an 1986 and had the same problem. Changing the clutch master cylinder fixed it.

I have replaced the master cylinder on my 1997 camry 6 times.

since the fluid is alcohol based it evaporates, sounds like maybe the fluid reservoir is leaking and the master is ok, in most cases the plastic fluid reservoir is transferred from cylinder to cylinder.
