You replaced a clutch and fly wheel in an automatic? Or maybe the torque converter and belts? Likely since i havent seen many of those vehicles with standards you have an automatic, sounds like you may just be low on transmission fluid, reverse is the first gear to charge hydrolics on so it would be the first to show sign, you probably have hesitation in going from reverse to drive also

You should flush the transmission out. Remember mopar uses high friction trans fluid and when this fluid gets somewhat old and looses friction then it will not operate properly.

Some times judders on take off

this is an indication of oil or grease on the clutch plate, or worn plate , over heated flywheel that has high spots and cracks and the same on the pressure plate. Basically the fix is the replace the clutch assembly, have the flywheel machined . While the gear box is out replace the rear main seal and the clutch shaft input seal ( the seal is behind the metal tube that the throw out bearing is on so it is a simple seal to replace.)

Can not revese judders when going forward

First, check the transmission's fluid level for being below level.

The transmission's reverse solenoid may be bad, if it jidders on going forward, the clutches could be worn out in the 1st gear.

At any rate, it sounds like it may need a transmission rebuild if the level is ok and it is malfunctioning this way.

2001 Hyundai santa fe. 2 weeks ago clutch judder started,

this indicates a damaged clutch disk and pressure plate, however the transmission has come down to determine the damage, 1 you will need a clutc assembly 2 the flywheel will either need to be resurfaced or my best suggestion is to replace it since it is over heated just like a bad brake rotor when the flywheel is over heated it is worped and causes the judder!!
