Beleive it or not changing the oil if dirty will solve this code, also found that connector gets oil in it and that also makes p1345 code turn on, open connector and look for oil in it,look at sensor and actuator plugs for oil,the main plug connector is the actuator plug it fills with oil and makes contact between pins setting p1345 code, hope this helps.

2002 Trailblazer rough idling

First try cleaning the throttle body, make sure you take it off the intake manifold so that the rear side gets cleaned as well. While doing the cleaning, disconnect the battery so that the PCM will reset and relearn to the freshly cleaned throttle body.

TRAILBLAZER 2003 CODIGO P1345

P1345 - Crankshaft Position (CKP)-Camshaft Position (CMP) Correlation.

This code is a very strong indication of communication failure between the cam and crank shaft sensors. In order to diagnosis correctly, you will need ot purchase a genuine GM code reader. This code reader will allow you to run specific test that will isolate which sensors is damaged or if there are simple issues that exist in the wiring at each sensor. The special code reader will cost around 189 dollars. You can purchase it at your local auto zone or either high end auto parts store. If you cannot afford to purchase such tool; Take this vehicle to the nearest competent GM certified local mechanic or a near by GM dealership for the proper repair detail.

One or both of the sensors mentioned may be out of order or misaligned, thus, not allowing for an efficient pulse ping. There may be loose or deteriorating wiring at the connectors of each sensor or PCM ports, as well. You will need ot preform the test needed with the GM code reader to isolate the issue, properly.

What is code P1345?

I had the p1345 on my 2002 Silverado this week. The code means Crankshaft/camshaft position correlation. In other words the cam is not where it is supposed to be in reference to the crank. It could be the Cam position sensor, the crank position sensor , the gear on the distributor or the timing chain. The quickest and cheapest check is the distributor gear which is what mine was. It's quite common. The gear is about $60 and can be replaced in less than an hour with the right experience. The engine won't usually run if it's the crank sensor and the cam sensor is a little more.
