Just go to the dealer and buy the Hyundai / Kia SPIII.

I have the same problem, I'm cureenlty going to try Step one and, Replace the Transmission Fluid,

I'm doing this becuase, the Kia Spectra need a special transmission Fluid that the last owner or person might not have put in.

Number two reason is because from my knowledge old transimission fluid will do this also.

Do it yourself to save money search it up on google, thats how i learned.

the fluid is drained by removing the transmission pan located under the car. make sure you buy a transmission filter kit so you can change the filter and gasket. the trans fluid is added to the dipstick tube, where you have located the dipstick.

All that should be in your owner manual under fluid specifications

you need to put foreign additive in your transmission.. these places that change your fluid do not do that when they change fluid

contact local dealer they will recommend the right fluid for your car!
