How do I change the cabin filter on 2002 Chevrolet

The Duramax fuel filter assembly is bad about sucking air. Replace the fuel filter assembly. It comes with a new fuel filter.
I need some good feedback.

Diesels usually knock when idling and accelerating but should sound better when cruising.
A rod knock will be very loud.

YOUR ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP IS THE DIESEL INJECTION PUMP.

The 2002/2003 Silverado was a change over year for Cabin Air filters. I know with the Chevy Avalanche the 03's did not have them and 02's did. The dash/center console changed with the 03's, and I believe it was done away with in that change over.... Still shows up on catalog, but the 03 has no Cabin Filter.

if the heater vent door is not stuck then there should be a resetcombo with the buttons.

mo me it sounds like low fuel volume i would check my lift pump

whens the last time you changed the fuel filter? ther maybe to much water in the filter and the tank, on warmer days the fuel maybe trying to seprate in the filter, when you go to start it you maybe trying to run it on water more then diesel. add a cetien booster to the tank of fuel you have see if that helps

I had tha same problem it was the high pres. fuil pump. mine was 2000 rpms and 25 to 30 mile an hr was all i could get out of mine. hope this help you out.
