Does Lumina sedan have rear seat pass thru to trunk ?? if sedan then a pull tab will be in seat upholstery near shelf / by rear window . pull it crawl in with Light Plus friend on outside to hand tools .. IF VAN must remove interior panels to gain access .. Try small thin needle nose pliers to pick broken KEY Piece out of lock 1 ST . if successful spray in Lubricant before trying another key . BUT must be reason lock jammed -- Frozen by weather change or Mechanism Disconnected due to lack of lubrication or worse Plastic Parts used in assembly by Factory .. DRILLING Lock Out will get it Open but new / used parts to repair are now on your shopping list ..

Hi. If you remove the back seat, the door pad can then be removed, lokk at the rhs one to see where the bottom screw is, this can be removed with a long t20 torx driver. Once in the door pad, remove the windows ancillery carrier, you can then break the door lock from the inside of the door.

Most likely the "paddle" that attaches to the lock cylinder is broken

yeah my door lock wont open, i have to get in through the boot, i went to the seat dealership after a mechanic looked at it and said it was a barrel problem, made a few calls and its a manufacture part so 86 euro for the part and a 5 day wait and then whatever the mechanic charges to install. apparently its a problem on all Cordoba and a few VW since they make the engine and main parts. if i could get one in a scrap yard and use 2 keys i would this time of year n all, i just need some sort of lock asap. does this sound the same as your problem?

i have a seat codoba 1998 petrol and have had no problems at all with this vehicle ,i suspect that somehow these lights are picking up a feed from somewhere ,but where ??is the 100euro question ,i would suspect the radio , their are two feeds a permanant 12volt feed and a ign switchable 12v feed and i suspect that these two are about face .---but i could be wrong and often am

I'm assuming you have manual adjustment seats. There is a spring underneath the seat that locks the end of the lever into corresponding notches in the seat frame rail. That spring has either fallen off or broken.

to be honest i wouldn't suggest it. weather or not you are going for looks or the handling of a slot car i would recommend a Coil - over suspension with a camber kit and a front and rear strut brace. This way you can have that lower street performance car look and be able to handle a corner like a slot car.

Do some research you can pick up all of this from ebay for a decent price.

there is 2 options , 1 use a cone cutter and cut a 25 mm hole in tail gate below where your number plate is . op 2 remove covenience ecu and power up tailgate switch obviosly this is not possible if all doors are locked

No we have not found a solution, as our car is a SEAT Cordoba, not JETTE, because you dont have SEAT Cordoba on your list of cars, possibly because your website is US based, and you dont have SEAT,s in the US
