On the intake, Near the top radiator hose inlet, Note this model has 2, 1 Runs the guage, The other tells the pcm what temp the motor is for strategy. DO NOT REMOVE THIS WITH VEHICAL WARM OR HOT. IT WILL SPEW COOLANT IF YOU TRY, Allow vehical to cool all the way, And this is a very easy repair :) Good luck, God bless

I have a 2001 Lincoln Ls 3.9 V8 motor and I'm trying to locate the temperature sensor. But i am having trouble to locate that part. Can someone help

This engine does not have nor use a engine coolant temp sensor. It uses a cylinder head temp sensor. It is mounted under the intake which has to be removed to gain access to the sensor. It is on the drivers side head next to the intake ports

Will a 2000 lincoln ls v8 transmission fit in my 2002 lincoln ls v8

It would probably fit, but it could have different sensors and solenoids.
A salvage yard should have the interchange book to tell you for sure.

2002 lincoln ls heater not working

Does the engine temperature also take that long to get to operating temp (around 200 F)? If it does, your thermostat may be on its way out. Check your coolant level first.
