I have 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT, and I have an A/C. The A/C is not working at all. I just noticed that fans on radiator turn on when I press the A/C button. Is there anything I can do about it by myself? Thank you

Could be a Clogged Exhaust Converter--if have no power
at all.

there is a heat sencing unit on the fan or radiator which cuts in and out to let the engine maintain operating temperature. If this is faulty, the fan will never go on and the car will overheat.

I would make sure that when it gets warmed up that the cooling fan is kicking on.If not I would try changing the coolant temp. sensor on the engine for the cooling fan or test the fan to make sure the fan is still good.The fan should be mounted to the radiator.

it should. they are both 1st gen. body style. same with a stealth, it will work too.94 is start of the second gen. body

the radiator cooling fan does not turn on automatically.

The mechanical water thermostat on the 3000gt is right under the metal water cap just to the left of the engine and next to the spark plug wires. The cap will have a warning about not opening if the car is hot as the water is pressurize and can spray out. If you want to replace the thermostat I recomend you use a genuine Mitsu thermostat. I beleive all years, base,SL and VR4 are the same but have a look at mentor mitsubishi http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213934&year=1993 for the right part and useful images. They also have a good discount price. Select your year, then make and model and look under COOLING SYSTEM->COOLING SYSTEM->THERMOSTAT.
Another useful place to look for 300gt information is 3si.org and stealth316.com
Replacing the thermostat you will lose some coolant so be prepared to catch it and top it back up afterwards. You will also need the rubber gasket that goes around the thermostat if your's is old.

what year model and make? it could be the blower module by the blower fan. just depends on year.
