My ac stops and starts whenever it wants to and does not blow hard at all and when you tun it full blast it sometimes sounds as if it is going to fall out of the dash. What do I need to do?
The recirculation door is probobly broken off which is causing poor air circulation, or there could be leaves etc in the blower motor baldes.
I had the same problem. When I turned the fan to high I would get minimal air flow and a strong vibration. Took it to the dealer and ask if this was normal or if this year truck had same problems. They told me not a problem on other trucks. BS. I unscrewed the blower motor. The door was laying over the motor and blocking flow. The vibration was caused by a broken piece of the door falling into the blower fan. Took out the broken piece, took out the door. Blows like crazy now. Easy fix. Avoid the dealer.

I had the same problem this week on my '03 Ram. I had heard about the
problem before. It cost's alot to fix because I think the whole dash
board has to be removed to put the new door in. I just pulled the blower
motor out (3 screws) from under the glove box and looked up under
there, and sure enough, the door was just laying there blocking all air
from going to vents. I just used some gentle force to pull the broken
door out of the hole where the motor came out of, and put the motor back
on. Everything seems to be working, just cant switch from outside air
to inside air. But at least it blows now. :)
Sounds like the bearings in the motor are out, replace fan motor
