Specifically for 2003 Tiburon V6 6 speed, but may work for you as well.
-Loosen tire lugs
-Remove center caps with screw driver or similar tool (careful not to scratch caps)
-loosen axle nut

-Jack the car up and place on jack stands
-Chalk rear wheels
-finish removing tire lug nuts and tire
-remove cotter pin and finish removing axle nut
-remove brake pads
-remove caliper and brake assembly
-remove rotor (possible PITA), use extreme caution hammering a stuck rotor!

IMPORTANT STEP:
*remove 2 bolts from strut mount assembly. This will allow you enough clearance to "cleanly" pull axle out with minimal force/hammering. No axle puller tool necessary and no messing with the lower ball joint.

-Now gently tap the axle out of the hub assembly
-pull the rest of the axle out of the hub assembly by hand or pry with long screw driver or pickle fork. Again, since you removed the 2 strut assembly bolts, your hub assembly should have dropped down and away from the axle quit a bit to allow you enough clearance to remove axle from hub assembly

**Follow next steps for DRIVER SIDE ONLY**
-Next, place a fluid pan to catch any leaking trans fluid before removing axle from transmission side.
-Using a long screwdriver or pickle fork, pry the axle away from the transmission
-Remove entire axle and replace with new one
-Installation is reverse of removal steps. (not difficult, just line up the splines and everything should "pop" in place

    Part 2:

-Installation is reverse of removal steps. (not difficult, just line up the splines and everything should "pop" in place…take your time and listen for the pop/click of the axle being seated as you push it into place)
-DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME IF YOU NEED BOTH AXLES REPLACED and CLEAN AXLE END BEFORE INSERTING INTO TRANSMISSION)

**Follow next steps for PASSENGER SIDE ONLY**
-Using a long screwdriver or pickle fork, pry the axle away from the transmission end (This end is shorter and DOES NOT go all the way back into the transmission, unlike the driver side, so no fluid pan is needed)
-Remove entire axle and replace with new one
-Installation is reverse of removal steps.
-DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME IF YOU NEED BOTH AXLES REPLACED and CLEAN AND "GREASE" BEFORE INSERTING INTO TRANSMISSION END)

Note: removal of small items such as dust covers, shields etc… may help give you a better angle to hard to reach places. When in doubt, remove the simple pieces to gain better leverage and for safety. Think it through and double check! Good luck.

Need a drawing of how to install a cv boot and axle in a 01 hyundai tiburon step by step fast

does it make noise? if so, dont waste you rtime, replace the complete axle. take wheel off, take lower ball joint loose, take off big nut in middle of wheel hub, now push axle through while lifting the spindle up, notwthe axle will come out of hub, now you will need to pry the other end out to get it to come loose, there is a small clip holding it in. you should really have a person experienced do this, it should take maybe .5 -1.0 hr

2004 tiburon : front jacking points?

The official front jacking points are on the reinforced edge of the unit body, just behind the front wheels.

If you're using a hydraulic jack, you can jack the front of the car from the front tow hook, place your axle stands under the front jack points, then let the car down onto the axle stands.

Always use axle stands when working on your car, never trust the jack alone.

Change front wheel bearings

u will need to remove the brake cailper and the the brake rotor, then the hub retaining nut, that is a large metric nut, the bearing and hub must come off, then u will need to take this hub to a machine shop or the dealer and have the new bearing pressed in.

2003 tiburon half-shaft removal

Unfortunately I dont have a solution for you. I highly doubt that the car will be similar to a GM vehicle but its always possible I guess. I would go to your local Hyundai dealer and ask one of the technicians or contact Hyundai directly if they have any way to assist you I'm sure they will. They also have all the schematics available for the vehicle when you sign up with them. Also, alldata.com is usually a reliable source as well. You'll find many service departments utilize it.
