Check with your local auto parts store. They actually make a pulley that bolts up in place of your A/C compressor. Im not sure where you live but I was able to locate one online at Murrays/O'Reillys auto stores. You would then use the same serpentine belt as before. It costs $15-$20.
Look up Dorman Products..they may make a kit to "bypass" the compressor.
On some cars yes, others no. Go and talk to an auto parts store and they should be able to help you. Now, on cars that aren't able to do that too, you can still sort of bypass it. I have gone to a machine shop with the compresser and told them my problem. I had them make a plate that will bolt in the factory compresser position. Then they put a regular pully on and there ya go. Might, MIGHT, be possible to take old compressor apart so you can remove the clutch and then put compressor back in and pulley will turn. But that is a might big MIGHT.
