P1750 code

P1750 Electronic gear selector module. Low control unit supply voltage too low.

Clear this fault first, as gear position sensor is not saying transmission is in P or N in order for engine to start. Check voltage at battery. Should be 12.65 if fully charged.

Low voltage causes false codes too and if too many set they will need clearing. Spilling tea coffee or soda down the shift gate can cause similar problems. Also the wiring to the transmission can become oil soaked and not pass full voltage to shift module at the connector.
It is also possible this code has nothing to do with a no start and you have another componet failure. .

Transmission selonoid assambly

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1750 is a "generic" OBD fault code that is output by your engine control computer to let you know that the transmission control computer is reporting a problem with one of the transmission control solenoids. To find out the nature of the problem and which of the solenoids has the failure, you must access your transmission control module and retrieve the fault codes from there.

The transmission control computer outputs 2-digit codes that are not accessible by a generic OBD code reader.

Have a transmission code P1750 on 1998 Mitsi Ecplise Spyder GS . I had the transmission rebuilt about a year ago,the check engine light came on and I had it diagnosed .The mechanic checked it out and said...

p1750 is a Manufacturer Control Transmission. i work at advance auto parts and we get these codes in from time to time. what i tell people is alot of times it is infact your solenoid box assemble is going. what that does is to tell your transmission when to shift into gears. im assuming your car is having a hard time shifting gears. to replace that part your looking to spend about 200 to 500 with parts and labor. unless you want to do the job yourself. than if im right it should run you between 150 to 200 for the part.
