code p1750 refers to AT-hydraulic system mechanical malfunction====causes --wiring---shift solenoids--ECM---transmission mechanical fault. Have a pressure test done to determine if there is a mechanical failure in the transmission.
P1750 Electronic gear selector module. Low control unit supply voltage too low.
Clear this fault first, as gear position sensor is not saying transmission is in P or N in order for engine to start. Check voltage at battery. Should be 12.65 if fully charged.
Low voltage causes false codes too and if too many set they will need clearing. Spilling tea coffee or soda down the shift gate can cause similar problems. Also the wiring to the transmission can become oil soaked and not pass full voltage to shift module at the connector. It is also possible this code has nothing to do with a no start and you have another componet failure. .
Code P1750 on your Toyota denotes a problem in the Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid due to a brake ECU malfunction. The signal is sent to the ECCM by the brake actuator assembly, aka skid control ECU for three seconds to display the code.
Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1750 is a "generic" OBD fault code that is output by your engine control computer to let you know that the transmission control computer is reporting a problem with one of the transmission control solenoids. To find out the nature of the problem and which of the solenoids has the failure, you must access your transmission control module and retrieve the fault codes from there.
The transmission control computer outputs 2-digit codes that are not accessible by a generic OBD code reader.
p1750 is a Manufacturer Control Transmission. i work at advance auto parts and we get these codes in from time to time. what i tell people is alot of times it is infact your solenoid box assemble is going. what that does is to tell your transmission when to shift into gears. im assuming your car is having a hard time shifting gears. to replace that part your looking to spend about 200 to 500 with parts and labor. unless you want to do the job yourself. than if im right it should run you between 150 to 200 for the part.
Where did you get the code? Whomever scaned it should have the boolket to tell you what this code means, every scanner has different reference codes and its own booklet.
DTC P1750: Mechanical Problem in Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Assemblies A and B, or Problem in Hydraulic Control System
NOTE: • Record all freeze data and review General Troubleshooting Information before you troubleshoot. • Keep these replacement solenoid valves on hand: • A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A and B 1. Check whether the OBD II scan tool indicates another code. Does the OBD II scan tool indicate another code? YES - Perform the troubleshooting flowchart for the indicated code(s). Recheck for code P1750 after troubleshooting. NO - Go to step 2. 2. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 3. Replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A and B. 4. Reset the PCM memory with the PGM Tester or by removing the BACK UP fuse in the passenger's underdash fuse/relay box for more than 10 seconds . 5. Drive the vehicle for several minutes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears in the position. 6. Recheck for code P1750. Does the OBD II scan tool indicate code P1750? YES - Replace the transmission. NO - The problem has been corrected
