Check coolant level . leaking fuel lines while running and stopped, gas tank filler cap , temperature censor ,low oil pressure , crank censor and fuel pump . Could also be the ECU ...
The fuse information is in the owners manual. MB does not allow free sharing of the manuals to it owners or us, so we do not have the fuse box diagrams. Please check with the dealer on how to order the owner's manual.

The safest way would be the agents, go to the MBUSA website. Select your vehicle model and year under the owners support->owners manuals section and you can download the user manual. Currently they offer manuals from 2000 and up.
check the gearbox oil level ,but their is no dipstick ,so its a dealer only job unless you can find a snap on man who sells a special tool that can measure the oil level ,
If the fuel filter was put in backwards, that could be the problem.
There should be an arrow on the filter, and that should be pointing toward the front of the vehicle. If no arrow, and the car was running good before you changed it, try turning the filter around the other way and see if it will start. Turn the key on and off 2 or 3 times so the fuel pump can build up some pressure and get the fuel to the injectors.
Don't turn the key on and of fast. Turn on, wait a few seconds the turn it off. 2 to 3 times. Hope this helped you a little.
