Tool needed to remove 2007 nissian sentra oil pump and how to remove oil pump

2V must be referring to a 2 barrel carburetor, which is what I have in my 1987 Sentra. The carbureted version uses a mechanical pump on the engine, not an electric pump. That is why the pressure is only 3.8 lbs. You are lucky to have TBI. the carbureted version is a pain.

You would use a gasket scraper, or any other type of scraper, that you may have. You can purchase a gasket scraper at any auto parts store. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Yes, it is in the fuel tank mounted with the fuel pump. Generally not replaced until fuel pump fails.

you did'nt leave a tool in the head under the valve cover did you ?

USE A RULER OR 4 INCH MICROMETER USE TO MEASURE PISTON DIAMETER.

Spray some starting fluid into the airbox where the air hose goes into the injector. You only need a one second squirt, if it starts then shuts off, it's your fuel pump, or a clogged filter. If it doesn't start, pull a spark plug wire and put a screwdriver in the end and set it a couple millimeters from the engine block or a body panel. DO NOT TOUCH IT WHILE THE STARTER IS BEING TURNED! Have someone turn the starter and see if a spark jumps across to the engine or body panel. If there is no spark jumping then your problem is most likely the ignition module, but could be a host of things in this world of computer driven cars. Hopefully it's an easy fix like the fuel filter. Good luck.

The pump does have a filter on it but you should also have an inline fuel filter somewhere underneath your car, Check the pump when you turn the ignition key on the pump should run for a second or two then shut off if you can hear it , it is working. It is rare for a vechicle not to have an inline fuel filter but there are some models that don't have one. The filters on the pumps usually don't stop up that often,it's pretty rare.I would try to replace the inline filter call and ask your local part store if they have one for it and you will know for sure. And usually if the crank sensor is bad it won't crank at all.

it is located above the fuse panel under the dash left of the steering wheel. Sorry I cant remember its color. Hope it helps

ok you need find location of the leak can be the oil pan can be rear main seal and could be drain plug it can be the fllter also
and if you just had your oil just done can be run off that stuck to the car and just dripping off.
You have nissian and there flilters are in the worst place i used work for them its probaly run off if you just had the oil changed.

is the engine turning very fast and making an uncommon noise . if it is then you more than likely have a broken timing belt . if this is not the case then you need to check for spark .
