The brake lights wont shut off even when the car is off what do i do?

So are these lights the brake lights or parking lights?
If they are your brake lights, it could possibly be the brake light switch.

Bad break light switch. Look up high on the brake pedal shaft up under the dash, you will see the button switch. Easy to replace but hard to get to.

It isn't often we get enough information to make a diagnosis, but I think we can in this case.
You have a break light switch under the dashboard that is plastic, and has a "plunger" button.
When you press the brake pedal, that allows the plunger button to extend, which closes contacts inside the switch, and makes the brake lights come on.
If and when that switch either breaks or gets loose, the plunger will stay extended, and the brake lights will stay on, discharging the battery.

Their is a push button switch for brake lights on the brake pedal arm. when you push the pedal, it comes off the pedal arm. tis could be the problem

check brake light switch seperate contacts regular brake lights & gate light

check your relays or the off and on switch

it could be the brake light relay

At the brake pedal their is switch which is possible loose or out of adjustment or closd circuit,it has two wires you could disconnect 1 wire. Caution!!!' do not use your cruise control until you have it fixed. Allan

Pull UP on the brake pedal while someone watches the brake lights. If they go off (they should), you need to check the adjustment. It should be adjustable to make contact when the pedal is slightly depressed.

Check your brake light switch it may be broken its attached to the brake pedal.
