Bronco that will not stay running

I have a 1983 ford bronco. It runs for 15-20 min and then it stops running. I have replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap, roter, coil, ignition module, and it still runs 15-20 min and then stops. I let it cool down, and then it does it again. What could be the problem. 302 engine 4x4 full size no a/c

I have a 90 ford bronco....runs fine...but after driving about 15 mins the bronco will be between the O and the R on the temp gauge...it stays like that until i shut it off. once i try to start back up it...

anything within the normal range is ok, if it is running a little hot check the coolant level. if you have not done a coolant flush in a while you should get one done and have them replace the thermostat.

My 1983 ford bronco will start and run alright

check for a crank shaft or camshaft failure. Also try by using a scanner if you can get any fault or if you use the scanner into live measurements to see the outcome readings into all the electrical and computerized controlled units of the car.

1983 ford bronco 302 engine wont stay running after jumped

keep in mind, your engine use both source of power to run, one from the battery and one form alternator. If the alternator is good, your engine should stay running regardless if the battery is good or bad, the alternator should keep the engine running. It sound like to me the alternator is faulty not charging your battery or keeping your engine running, even though the alternator is brand new does not mean is good. My guess I would take the alternator back and get another one. the reason why your car ran for 25 min and die it has no source of power to keep the sparks going although the alternator should keep the engine running and at the same time charging the battery but is not.

1984 bronco 2-runs 15 min shuts down wont start again for 20 runs

If the fuel filter is dirty it will settle when you turn the truck off. When it runs for a few minutes the debris in the filter will get sucked into the screen and stop the fuel from getting through. If it was a starter or coil, it would not start at all.
