My light for the air bags comes on and stays on why it happened 4 days ago don,t no why , some days it don,t come on , some days it do , what happens is after driving for 15 to 20 minutes the light comes on and blinks 4 or 5 times then goes off for 5 to 10 seconds then back on and stayes on , didn,t have no accent or do anything to cause this to happen

The air bag system is not fused, if your light is on the system is disabled and will not deploy in an accident. Have it checked for fault codes

Have your airbag module re-calibrated or have it replaced.
This happened to me a couple of years ago.

The airbag light on the dashboard comes for few reasons, either there is a bad connection or connection came loose but than the light would stay on at all times, if it comes periodically than I would look up to the owner's manual and also find the airbag check label inside the car as it might be faulty or in need of replacement. The danger is that if it is faulty it can blow up by itself or in case of accident (hope none happens) it will malfunction.

Don't know of any method to turn the light off except for repair of the following:
I believe what has happened is: While the column was disconnected from the steering gear someone, even by accident, has turned the wheel (from center), in either direction, more than it normally would when connected. This has damaged or broken the "clocking spring". It may also have damaged the cruise connections. These are located in the steering wheel, under the air bag. The clocking spring tells the system the relative position of the wheel which determines if it is safe to fire the bag, in the event of an accident severe enough to activate the system. This is a complicated repair, and should done by a qualified mechanic.

drivers seat ? is there a console in the middle with park rev neutral stick?

Sounds to me like one of the air bag sensors may have tripped, causing the airbag computer to think the vehicle has been wrecked. Take the vehicle to a dealership and have them reset the air bag sensors to get rid of the light.

Sorry, your going to have to go to the dealer to have the air bag system looked at. There are to many sensor's around the truck and it could also be a PCM problem.
Too dangerous to play with Air Bags your self. Dealer can scan the ECM to pin point the probem.

Dead ringer sypmtom of a bad wheel speed sensor which is buried inside the wheel bearing. Very common on these cars.
