Cylinder 1 misfire for the second time on a 2005

According to the code that popped up with my CEL it said p0201 and p0301. I have a cylinder 1 misfire for the second time on my 2005 chevy cobalt ss/sc. The car is stock with no mods done to it. It has severe vibrating and it recently turned off on me too. It idles up and down and the tach needle twitches on idle.

I have a 2005 Ford Freestar. It has been bucking here and there and today the engine light came on and is bucking a lot. What could be the problem?

Sounds like you may have a misfire. Scanning the computer for codes will help you narrow down the possibilities. If it is a misfire you will see a code or codes similar to P0301 thru P0306 which are specific cylinder misfire codes. P0301 being cylinder number 1, P0302 being cylinder number 2, etc. You can then focus on those cylinders to see whether they are getting spark or the condition of the spark plugs.

WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE PO301 CODE?

The error code p0301 ,This code is related to misfire. The cylinder is misfiring. p0301 this is the indication of cylinder number 1 ,that is misfiring. If the code comes up as p0300 this is the indication of random misfire from all the cylinders. But in your case its indicating p0301 this is indication of cylinder 1 misfire.Check cylinder 1 and replace the faulty cylinder 1 to clear the fault. The spark plugs and the wires connecting to spark plugs also needs to be checked. Keep updated with any more query.Thanks.
