Bmw 740 il key broke in half at remote part car

your car is in security You have to programe its key by key maker

Take it to BMW and get it serviced.

I can see mileages on my 1998 BMW 740 il

My 740 key fob has a rubber backing that when removed shows the screws have need to be removed to get to the battery.

CD Changer needs to be replaced... You can buy one online from Ebay. Make sure you have the correct model...

Hi it could just be the oil pressure switch get that checked first.

Is the car putting out any smoke? if so then it may be the head gasket starting to go, leaking oil into the pots. give it a hard rev and check, also the valve stem oil seals could be going. this would cause the engine to run rough if the spark plugs are getting oil on them. remove each plug and check for deposits of oil or very dark carbon

there is a few possibilities but your better checking these first.

Probably not the filter, the Fuel Pump is located under the Back Seat.

the dealer must do this. It takes a special scan tool.

I had a 740 il bmw 97 befor it won't start turn the key juste the light in the dach on now tech on bmw had it start but the alarm still on tell the cause of it what can ido to to stop the alarm

i think its your read coil. have you treid another key
your car is not getting the codes from the key.
