2002 Chevy trailblazer was put on machine and had codes U1041-P1633 and P0014 stored in ECM What does this mean?

Hello. It seems your vehicle's ECM has 'Alzheimer's'; sees a problem that is not there. It's either the ECM or a bad camshaft. I, doubt, it's a bad camshaft. I work on cars whereas I remove and replace a part yet the ECM leads me back to what I just repaired. Once I replaced the ECM; that problem is gone. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

What make , model an year vehicle ? P1633 can mean one thing for one make vehicle an something else for an other one.

Why are you even using the vehicle with
problems & any OBD Codes ?

Get it into a shop & they can diagnose whatever
problems it has

Possible causes
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
- ECM harness is open or shorted
- ECM circuit poor electrical connection

Two possibilities, poor electrical connection at the cam position actuator sensor (CPAS) connector or a clogged CPAS. Check connector first for oil residue. The CPAS itself is prone to clog if the oil is not changed at the proper intervals. Unfortunately, the CPAS is a little difficult to remove since access to one of its bolts requires the removal of the power steering pump.

The P0014 code refers to one of your camshaft position sensors being out of time with the other. Does not mean its bad but it could be. The P0128 code refers to your engine running cooler than it should. Your coolant thermostat may be stuck open not letting the engine warm up to it's proper temp. Now you did not say which engine you have in the TrailBlazer. There are 2 different engine used in the year model. Please repost with that info.
