This is on a 2008 Jeep Patriot.
My dashboard warning/lights and gauges keep flickering on and off repeatedly while driving.
The airbag light comes on, then the gauges go to zero, then back up to normal..I do not know what to do.
It's like the airbag switch comes on, then all the other lights come on, check engine, seatbelt, emergency brake, etc. and my gauges go down to zero, it makes a beeping noise when it happens too.
Sound like you have a lose connection it could be the cables on to the dash or the socket it fits to. you would need to remove the dash and clean the connection and re fit it. if you push on the dash does it stop. ? just check this first as some times its just a tiny amount of play in the connections that's the problem .

Check under drivers door sill step. There is a spice I believe the wires are red or pink in color. The splice will be wrapped in black hockey tape looking stuff. Peel the the hockey tape stuff off and you will find that this splice is corroded and not making contact anymore. You can repair this splice and your problems will be fixed. Be sure to use some good heat shrink on your repair to prevent from happening again.

there are 2 large terminal plugs with the wiring for all the instruments that are plugged into the back of that panel. make sure they are snug and in place. You reach in and under but it may easier to "simply" remove the cluster. 4 screws hold it in place accessible form underneath and with a long phillips screwdriver and lighting.
