Looking for ac fuse

Yes fuses and low and high pressure switches which often fail.

You can check the fuses. Look in your owners manual to see what fuses to check. When you turn the AC on make sure the vent is set to the dash, the fan is on high. You now should look under the hood at the AC pump and see if the clutch kicks in. There is a switch that will only allow the AC pump to run it there is enough freon in the system. This switch can be bypassed to test the system. The most common cause in low freon in the system. I hope this helps.

You can try looking for a blown fuse.look in owners manual under (fuses) AC..It could also be a vacuum lines that control the heating/AC unit

It is possible but not very likely. check your floor console fuse block and look at fuse 25(blower) or fuse 26(temp motors)

Take the glove box out. Behind the fuse box you will find a big gob of black tape, (it looks like a box shape all taped up. Take the tape off and you will find three inline fuse holders taped together. The AC fuse is the 10 amp one.

Try looking under the hood. There should be a power control unit with fuses and relays that control the AC. If you suspect it is a relay take on from another source that isnt detimental to the operation of the engine and swap it over. If your AC starts to work then that is your problem.

You can do a simple test, by looking at your AC pump, there sould be a electric clutch on the front of the pump, by connecting it ti shoudl activate the ac pump, if it works then is ok.

I would guess that your AC compresser clutch is shorted out. Try this: Look down into the area where the compresser is, and unplug the wire going to it. Replace the fuse, and try the switch. If the fuse does not blow, you need an AC clutch assembly. Let me know what you find out.
