I bought a faily used jaguar s-type but the radio is showing locked 10. I need a help

You can get Ford radio codes and instructions on how to enter the code emailed to you from here! if its the original fitted radio contact jag agent with your chassis number found in your log book if its not the original contact radio manufacturer

There are 3 power distribution boxes (fuse and relay boxes) the one containing the radio fuses is called "the Primary Junction Box" and it's located on the right side of the instrument panel (on the passenger side) behind a small panel. Check a brown 5 amp fuse (F2) and a yellow 20 amp fuse (F18). Hope this helps.

If the brake will not release or not apply, try the following (making sure you have a fully charged battery) Disconnect battery for 10 mins ( make sure you have your radio code available- this will need to be entered after battery reconnected to use you radio) when battery reconnected follow instructions on your dash board message centre. If this fixes your problem the the fault was caused by low battery voltage. If the fault remains you have a problem with the brake module or motor. some vehicles will get locked by cutting the main power supply to them. most manufactures will need the vin # of the vehicle and in some cases request some type of ID so that they can give u the code. Also they sometimes may need the serial # from the side of the radio. call local dealer and ask for service with your info.

The radio code is vehicle specific. It is usually found on a card that is supplied with the vehicle when new with the owners manual. If you cannot find it, you will need to see a Jaguar dealer and show proof of ownership of vehicle. They will then have to get the serial number from the radio itself and look it up in their system to get your code. Unfortunately they will probably charge you $ for doing this.

Leave the ignition on for 20 mins as that some times clears it and allows you to try again 3 more times
