You drowned it. did you powerwash the engine compartment? if so you may have killed a main computer or coil pack. spray with wd-40, it will **** the moister out of things.

Hi Mmmax, Sounds to me as if you have a problem with the vehicle anti theft unit. Try disconnecting the battery for about three minutes and then hook it up again. If that does not work you will likely need to have the unit re-encoded. Regards John
sounds like water ingress to either a control module or the coil pack, check all control box locations eg footwells for water and then check the engine bay for loose or naked wires, dry and clean and possibly cover with a plastic bag etc and it should be fine.
try removing the battery + for at least 2 minutes. it should reset the alarm system. if it doesnt work you need to make your remote work try replacing the batteries and try it
