95 GMC jimmy thats leaking oil, cracked remote oil line to filter

I have a 95 GMC jimmy thats leaking oil because of a crack on the metal part of the two lines coming from the oil pump to the oil filter. The remote oil lines need to be replaced. How do I get the line off from the back near the oil pump? How much would it be to take it to a mechanic?

SOURCE: plastic radiator repair

Yes a radiator shop may sell you a new tank, some will, the dealer and parts stores only service the whole radiator, as far as plastic welding the crack, it's a watse of time, works for awhile and then cracks open again, have tried it several times.

9141 does not exist I will assume it is DTC P0141 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2

The VCM has the capability to monitor this process by using the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2). The HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2), located in the exhaust stream before the catalytic converter, produces an output signal which indicates the storage capacity of the catalyst; this in turn indicates the catalysts ability to convert the exhaust emissions effectively. If the catalyst is functioning properly, the HO2S signal will be far less active than the signal produced by the Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1).
When the HO2S temperature measures below 360°C (600°F), the sensor will not produce any voltage and will behave like an open circuit. This will result in an Open Loop operation.
The HO2S heater provides for a faster sensor warm-up which allows the sensor to become active in a shorter period of time and remain active during long extended idle. The DTC P0141 determines if the HO2S is functioning properly by checking the response time of the sensor. This DTC is a type B DTC.

SOURCE: need to replace passenger side view mirror 200 GMC Jimmy Diamond

On my '97, there was a triangular shaped piece of plastic on the inside trim that had to be removed. I think all three mounting screws were under that. It's been a few years, but I think that was how it was done.
I remember it was pretty easy though.

Ok i need your help I got a 95 gmc jimmy with a 4.3 vortex that's not starting I got fuel coming to the filter but no fuel going to the motor anybody got any ideals?

is there fuel coming out of filter. with it being a vortex motor it could be the fuel pressure is too low to open the fuel injectors or you have a cracked fuel line inside the intake manifold and not allowing the fuel to go out the injectors.

Need to change the fluid line on transmission- 2000 gmc jimmy

Temporary fix is to cut out bad section of line and use "oil cooler" type hose to make a splice using hose clamps.

Where is the oil filter on a 1993 GMC Jimmy

If it has remote oil lines 4.3 some do its inthe front near the bumper . Look at the splash guard there will be a little door that says oil filter Turn the latch and it opens If you don't have the remote lines then its on the drivers side of the engine toward the rear at about the level ware the oil pan bolts to the bottom of the engine block

Had a slight transmission leak, went under and noticed where a couple of the hoses connect with an adapter there was a slight crack in the hose,I cut back the hose a little, the hoses do not fit really tight...

No, the remote oil line hose needs to be replaced. There is an easier fix to this other then replacing the remote oil line. Just to make sure were on the same page, the transmission line has no rubber line and is a one piece metal line from the transmission to the radiator on the passenger side. The remote engine oil line is on the drivers side and is rubber and goes to the radiator and remote oil filter housing. That is the hose that is common to leak at the factory compression clamp where the rubber hose connects to the metal line. The factory compression clamp can be cut off and just place the rubber hose or replace the oil line and replace the compression clamp. Make sure it's a compression clamp and not a hose clamp, the compression clamp has a better all round clamping force to the hose and less to fail then the hose clamps. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to answer any questions you may have and NAPA or Auto Zone will have all the parts you need to get the job done.

Where is the rear window washer resivior located on a 95 jimmy

It's the same reservoir as the front windshield washer. If it's not working, check the washer line to make sure there are no cracks or breaks in it. Good luck and keep me posted.

Bad oil leak driver side front fender

There is an adapter for the oil filter with 2 lines coming out of it above the drive shaft from the transfer case to the front differential. The O ring on these will go sometimes causing loss of oil. Also check the 2 lines for leaks and cracks.
