The procedure to replace the fuel injector in Buick Lesabre Is as follows:-- 1) you will require a ordinary flat screwdriver, a needle nose pliers, a 10 mm socket, 6" extension and 1/4" ratchet. 2) First of all take the engine cover out then pinch the fuel rail connecting fittings at the base and lift off the two hoses. Note:-- Do this when your engine is cold. 3) Then bleed off the pressure in the fuel rail first. Take care you don't damage the fuel rail while bleeding the fuel pressure because a new one will cost over $ 200. 4) Loosen and remove the four nuts holding down the fuel rail. Disconnect all six electrical connectors to each injector. 5) Carefully lift up the fuel rail. Pry off the clip holding the top of the injector to the fuel rail. Pull the injector out of the fuel rail and then out of the intake manifold. 6) Install the new injectors and replace top and bottom o-rings. Reassemble and check for any fuel leaks. Thanks.

My 1989 Chevrolet S10 4.3 starts fine but after 15 or 20 minutes of it running it will flood out if I disconnect one of the injectors it will crank up and run

It sounds like your 1989 Chevrolet S10 may have a problem with the fuel injectors or the fuel system. When you disconnect one of the injectors and the engine starts, it suggests that one or more of the injectors may be stuck open and flooding the engine with fuel. This could be caused by a malfunctioning injector, a problem with the fuel pressure regulator, or a
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Inspect the fuel injectors for any signs of damage or malfunction. The injectors may need to be cleaned or replaced if they are not functioning properly.
  2. Check the fuel pressure using a fuel pressure gauge. The fuel pressure should be within the manufacturer's specified range. If the pressure is too high, it could be caused by a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
  3. Replace the fuel filter if it is clogged or dirty. A clogged fuel filter can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine and cause starting and running problems.
  4. Check the control panel for any error codes or messages that may indicate the cause of the issue.

What is code p204 and injector 2 means?

Its telling you the P.C.M /computer is detecting a problem with fuel delivery on injector #2.This dosen't mean the injector is is bad it means its not getting enough fuel .It could be a lot of reasons but the first thing I would do replace the inline fuel filter from the tank to the engine this can restrict fuel flow to the regular witch will drop the fuel pressure to the injectors .The filter likely clear up the problem bot fuel pumps don't last for ever and clogged shorten there lives.

2004 chevy blazer code 304 missfire number 4 cyl

If plug an plug wire has been replaced , an dist. cap an rotor an problem is still there ,maybe a fuel injector problem .
Perform the fuel injector coil test. Refer to Fuel Injector Solenoid Coil Test .
A fuel injector coil winding resistance that is too high or too low will affect engine drivability. A fuel injector control circuit DTC may not set, but a misfire may be apparent. The fuel injector coil windings are affected by temperature. The resistance of the fuel injector coil windings will increase as the temperature of the fuel injector increases.
Diagnostic Aids
?€¢
Monitoring the misfire current counters, or misfire graph, may help to isolate the fuel injector that is causing the condition.

?€¢
Operating the vehicle over a wide temperature range may help isolate the fuel injector that is causing the condition.

?€¢
Perform the fuel injector coil test within the conditions of the customer's concern. A fuel injector condition may only be apparent at a certain temperature, or under certain conditions.

  1. Disconnect the multi-way harness connector of the fuel injectors.
  2. Measure the resistance of each fuel injector between the ignition 1 circuit and the fuel injector control circuit, at the multi-way connector with a DMM. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.
Is the resistance within the specified range for each injector?
11-14 ohms

  1. Disconnect the multi-way harness connector of the fuel injectors.
  2. Measure the resistance of each fuel injector between the ignition 1 voltage circuit and the fuel injector control circuit, at the multi-way connector with a DMM. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.
  3. Record each fuel injector resistance value.
  4. Subtract the lowest resistance value from the highest resistance value.
Is the difference equal to, or less than, the specified value?
3 ohms

99 ranget 3.0 problem driving me crazy only on first start up itll stutter hold the gas half way and itll smooth out no smoke or codes starts fine after first start up been told many things thanks

Ugh... sticky injectors are common for that era of Ford! Make sure your fuel filter is fairly new, and regularly use some fuel injector cleaner. Verify pressure at the fuel rail, and replace the pressure regulator and/or fuel pump as necessary. (The fuel injector cleaner may actually fix the problem, but you may need to replace the offending injector eventually.)

Best Practices
  • Using lower quality gasoline can result in recurring fuel injector problems, even after a fuel injector replacement.

  • Fuel injector seals should always be replaced along with fuel injectors.

Common Symptoms
  • Failing fuel injectors can cause engine misfiring and hesitation. The Check Engine Light may come on and set diagnostic trouble code(s).

Cylinder 5 missfire

On the 3.4 liter V6 the #5 cylinder is on the driver's, firewall side. The #5 cylinder on the 3.8 V6 is on the driver's, radiator side.
Check the spark plug wire and replaced if needed and also the spark plug, also if may be a good thing to add fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank for the next few fill up to clean out the fuel injectors just to make sure that it's not a dirty injector problem and also replace the fuel filter just to make sure that the fuel pressure and flow is adequate for proper fuel injector operation.
A good fuel injector additives is the Lucas fuel injector, the price is unbeatable to the amount you get. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and hope this will fix the problem. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running 100% soon.
