Cooling fan on 2004 Toyota Sienna doesn't stop running

The radiator cooling fan on my 2004 Toyota Sienna turns on after the car is turned off, and doesn't turn off, draining the battery. After researching a bit here, I tried swapping the cooling fan relay with another same-sized on, but get the same symptoms. Any idea what else might be causing this? Or suggestions for something else to try?

What happens when you leave the relay out? Your fan control module may have a shott.

SOURCE: Original tire size is 215/65R16 can I replace this

Yes. The van will sit a little higher and you will pick up 2 or 3 mph. There is a slight chance that the tires will rub when you cut the wheel sharply. That's about it. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Toyota Sienna 2004 Headlight Problem

If you have the HID bulbs, and there is moisture in the bottom of the assembly, the high voltage box at the bottom will not work. this requires removing the whole headlamp, removing the circuit board from the bottom and drying out. I have done mine twice before finally finding how water was getting in at the top seam of the lamp assembly. You will have to dis-assemble part of the wheel well and bumper cover to gain access to all the mounting bolts. Best of luck

My van overheats and turns off automatically

You should have 2 cooling fans in front of your radiator. These are controlled by the computer. You have a temp sensor that tells the computer when to turn the fans on and off. Your problem could be this sensor. If it quits working properly and lets the engine heat up then the computer will shut off the engine to save the engine. When it cools down, you can start it again.

Horn blows repeatedly and highlights flash repeatedly for no reason.

try your remote batteries i would remove them from both remotes then reattach the batt cable if this dosen't work could be a bad alarm controller fan relay has nothing to do with it you need a new radiator fan thermo switch located on the radiator

I have a 2004 Toyota Sienna with a problem in the engine cooling system. I have had the radiator and thermostat replaced and it still overheats. It does not run out of coolant. Most of the time it will...

the problem might be the thermostat is stuck in the open position, not closed, this keeps the water circulating and its never in the radiator long enough to be cooled, which would explain the bubbling in the over flow tank, flush the system and add new coolant, replace the thermostat ,

2004 Toyota Sienna and the AC is blowing warm air

Well, I would check to see if the compressor under the hood is engaging and the fan turns on to the radiator when switching the a/c on.

The most common problem for a car that is 6 years old is for r134a refrigerant to leak out through o-rings.

I would get an r134a recharge kit from your local auto parts store which consists of a tube and a can of freon with oil, leak detector, and sealant to help prevent leakage.

Hope you can get 'cool' air conditioning again.

Radiator cooling fan

You may need to replace the thermostat. The thermostat is what controls the fan coming on. If the car is having an overheating problem the check engine light will be on since it is not operating in the allowed tollerances.
