Wont fire for awhile

I changed my plugs and yes there gapped right and wires, truck ran better than it had since I bought it 4 years ago. parked it the other day and when I went to start it it cranked over for about 20 sec, I turned the key off and tried again. I repeated this 4 times than it just fired up like nothing happened. It has been this way every since and is a real challange to start. it just wont fire at all than all of a sudden starts right up.

it's a 2001 and the starters fine today it backfires hard right before starting and exhaust smells like gas, if it had a roter I would say the timeing is off. Runs like a champ after you get it started

No spark on a '82 440 ltd

take the spark plug out and plug the lead back in it and turn the motor over and you should see a spark happening between the bottom gap to make sure it's sparking. No spark, check yer coil or cdi.

1992 mazda mpv, 6 cyls. it occurs a year ago after tune up. its luck power. during smog test, and now it cranks but wont go through when it start. changed the rotor, spurk plugs and cable

Check your gas for possible water. Just in case try a can of SEAFOAM in your gas. It will take about 10 min of running to work. Also recheck the gap on the spark plugs it should be .044 gap. One other thing to check is the firing order and make sure the wires were put back in the right place to the right spark plug
